TheCrash Gauge Dashboard (“the Service”) is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. The crash probability figures, risk levels, indicator analyses, and reports generated by this Service are the output of a statistical model and should not be interpreted as recommendations to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise trade any security, financial product, or investment of any kind.
You should always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor or other appropriate professional before making any investment decisions. Reliance on any information provided by this Service is solely at your own risk.
2. No Warranty & Accuracy
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up-to-date data, we make no guarantee that:
- The data displayed is accurate, complete, or current.
- The statistical model will correctly predict future market conditions.
- The Service will be available without interruption or error.
- Any defects or errors will be corrected.
Economic data is typically published with a 1–3 month lag by issuing agencies. Not all indicators are available for every region. Data may be cached for up to one hour and may not reflect the most recent publications.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operators of this Service be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of investment returns, or other financial losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You acknowledge that past performance of economic indicators does not guarantee future results, and that any actions you take based on the information provided by this Service are taken entirely at your own risk.
4. Data Sources & Attribution
This Service incorporates data from the following third-party sources. Use of this data is subject to the terms and licences of the respective providers:
- Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED): fred.stlouisfed.org. This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
- OECD: data.oecd.org. OECD data © OECD, used under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. See OECD Terms & Conditions.
- Robert Shiller, Yale University: econ.yale.edu/~shiller/data.htm. Shiller CAPE PE ratio data from the Irrational Exuberance dataset.
We do not guarantee the continued availability of any third-party data source. If a data source becomes unavailable, affected indicators will be excluded from the probability calculation until the source is restored.
5. Intellectual Property
The crash probability algorithm, website design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of the Service operators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this Service without prior written permission, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial use.
Reports and CSV exports generated by the Service are provided for your personal use. You may share exported data with appropriate attribution to the source.
6. Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download data from the Service beyond normal usage.
- Represent the Service’s output as your own professional financial analysis or advice.
- Use automated tools to place excessive load on the Service’s infrastructure.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the use of this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
